What are your qualifications?

Hi, I'm Tara and I'm a Big Bear local and certified yoga instructor (RYT200). I completed my RYT200 with Big Bear Yoga and am now pursuing my RYT500 with Cloud Nine Yoga. I've been practicing yoga for nearly twenty years and still approach every session as an opportunity to learn about and connect with ourselves.

I began my private consulting journey in 2016. When a corporate CEO confessed that he was jealous of the calm and balance in my life, I decided to begin offering 1-1 life coaching. I didn't just glide into a balanced lifestyle -- I had been working 60+ hours a week and raising two preschoolers, and I found much-needed balance and the confidence to establish healthy boundaries through dedication to daily yoga and prayer. Now I enjoy coaching others who may also seek to rebalance their lives and reorient in a positive and encouraging direction.

What is life coaching?

Life coaching offers guidance and encouragement in various aspects of a person's life and well-being. At YogaPrayer365, life coaching is a blend of consultative coaching and yoga guidance to encourage balance across the mind, body, and spirit. Our goal-oriented approach focuses on balancing the various chakras to offer direction, clarity, and fulfillment.

Who benefits from life coaching?

Anyone can benefit from reflecting on their strengths, establishing goals, and mapping out next steps, although it takes dedication to put those plans into action. Those who benefit most from a life coach are people who are willing to embrace positive change. Life coaching is especially helpful during times of transition or uncertainty. Whether you’re considering a career change, struggling with communication, seeking genuine fulfillment, trying a new venture, expecting a major change, overcoming a setback, or exploring your values, life coaching offers guidance and clarity to encourage positive transformation.

How is life coaching different from therapy?

A life coach does not offer a clinical assessment, diagnosis, statement of medical necessity, or recommendations for medication referrals. At YogaPrayer365, our coaching approach is not intended to change who you are through therapeutic interventions. Instead, we embrace your strengths and guide you in redirecting positive energy to areas in your life that will offer greater fulfillment and clarity.

Do you hire a life coach for a lifetime?

The length of time you spend with a life coach’s guidance is completely up to each individual. Some clients benefit from a single coaching series, whereas others want a longer-term coaching presence and take advantage of our full chakra rebalance over the course of a year. At YogaPrayer365, our goal is to meet you where you are, establish a healthy direction, and work together to find your next best step. From there, clients are welcome to schedule regular check-ins with their coach or even re-enroll in a series for a fresh next step.
